    Used Yachts

Yachts are expensive. Even with the facade of yachts being cheaper because of newer construction materials, some yachts could still cost way beyond $1 million. And for those customers with budget constraints, the excessive prices for yachts could put hold any plans of purchasing yachts.

That's why the next best choice is to have used yachts. Used yachts don't necessarily mean inferior quality yachts, as much as expensive yachts would always mean top class yachts. There are some of those used yachts that are of exceptional quality and still on fairly good condition. There are those brand new yachts that you wouldn't want included on your list of choices.

A number of online yacht retailers have cropped up recently to spar with the demand on personal yacht today. One of them, and having a good list for used yachts is from Eastern Yachts.com at www.easternyachts.com.

There is a section at Eastern Yachts.com dedicated for classic yachts and some of the used yachts entries are beautiful and top notch. Like the Angele Aline, a 1920 sailing trawler that originated from Fecamp, France. The hull is wood, a mixture of Larch, Teak and Oak, and overall, old sailors would love the retro feel of this one. It is offered at ?199,000 but other offers will be considered.

Though wood as hull is very pretty, it requires painstaking maintenance, bad news to first timers but wouldn't be a problem to veteran yacht owners, especially if they have experience in wood yachts before. So if you are a novice yacht owner, its best to look for used yachts having fiber glass hulls. Like the Wheelhouse Cruiser of Bruce Roberts design which sells at only ?16,750.

Bluewater Yacht Sales at www.bluewateryachtsales.com is also a leading yacht dealer in United Kingdom. Though initially operating locally at Hampton Virginia yacht shop, they have ever since become a multinational name in yachting business that has sees impressive scope: three key locations in the mid Atlantic area, two fully equipped service yards, and several more on various locations.

The used yacht catalog at Bluewater Yacht Sales is extensive. It features several winning choices: like the 47 feet Chris-Craft Motor Yacht. Sold at $154,900, it has fully equipped feature, sleeps 4 in 2 rooms and houses a galley and a saloon aside from the sleeping quarters.

There is also a magnificent sports yacht entry. Though listed at $1,595,000, it is still cheaper than the brand new price at $5,000,000. This sports yacht with enclosed pilothouse with flybridge sleeps 6 in 3 quarters. It also houses a chic saloon of leather upholstery.
